About Course

This course is the online companion to CS-501 Artificial Intelligence (2+1 credit hours). You will learn how intelligent agents perceive and act, formulate problems as search and solve them with uninformed and informed search, and then train and evaluate simple machine learning models on real data.

Each topic has video lectures, downloadable notes and a short quiz. Pass the final assessment to complete the course and earn your certificate.

What Will You Learn?

  • Describe intelligent agents and their environments
  • Formulate a problem as a search problem
  • Apply breadth-first, depth-first, greedy and A* search
  • Train, test and evaluate a machine learning classifier
  • Explain how a neural network learns
